soothsayer Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 These are the definitive rules of being a man. They are difficult for some women to understand but for us men, we know them instinctively for they are universal. When in a public rest room never make eye contact. When standing at at public urinal always look forward, never look down and finish as quickly as possible. When a friend ends a relationship, said ex girlfriend/wife is off limits for a respectable period of time. Possibly even indefinitely. It is acceptable to ignore your male friends for weeks or even months and not be offended. It is acceptable to greet each other with just a passing hey or even sup. You can complain to your male friends about what annoys you but you must never cry. The only thing that would void this rule is the death of a loved one. Never ask your male friends what they think of your clothes. It is ok to ditch your male friends at a bar/club if it means you're getting some. There are more of course but these are the essential rules.
Homicidalheathen Posted October 5, 2005 Posted October 5, 2005 Ok now this is pretty funny. I or should I say we......me and a friend of mine.......figured out my boyfreind was at least bi because he broke rule 1 and 2. Ha. Yah just call me clueless. And number 3. Unfortunatly I know a few guys who think all is fair in love and war. :tear My mother in law was hit on AT MY FATHER IN LAWS funeral. By a guy they both went to church with and had coffee with all the time. I guess at that age ya gotta act fast???? :confused
