soothsayer Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 Ok so I could find this at guitar center or someplace like that. Can you take sounds you create on it and transfer them to your computer?
Guest Game of Chance Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I sold my Waldorf Micro Q...but I highly recommend one if you have a MIDI controller.
soothsayer Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 But I do need something I can use with my pc. What programs are the best for this?
Guest Game of Chance Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 But I do need something I can use with my pc. What programs are the best for this? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can use any MIDI device with your pc. But if you're looking for software, I'm sure that you can find some plugins for ACID pro. They probably have some for sale at Guitar Center. Also, check the ACID website.
soothsayer Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 Plug-ins would do. I need to make my own loops, I've searched for months and it's hard to find just what I need. I have found some cool stuff though.

Guitar center is good like that. Ableton is a live looping program... And cakewalk is more for composition.... I am thinking about upgrading to Cubase when I can afford to...
detroitrequiem Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Being in d:konstruct, I have accumulated a large amount of music software over the past few years. Everything we do is digital. I have about 60 gig of quality samples and soundfonts, easily over 100, 000 samples, etc. I also have a variety of vst plugins, direct X, Cubase SX 2-3, Fl Studio, Acid 3-4, Waves plugins, almost every NI plugin out, etc. Meet me up at the Diesel some night, bring some blank CD's, and I'll hook you up. If any of you ever need advice or help on electronic music, production, recording, or songwriting, etc, just ask your friendly nieghborhood music teacher:) Thats what I do!
Vater Araignee Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Hey sooth what format do you need your samples in? Off the top of my head for just one drum sequencer I have... Ballad brush kit Break beat break beat kit Dance basic dance kit electro dance kit freeloops dance kit Hip Hop 1 kit 2 kit Rock blues kit rock kit Techno ambient kit 1 kit 2 kit Plus I can import any thing I can convert to wav and export anything to wav.I would also recommend Cool Edit Pro 2.0 if you can find it. It supports 128 tracks. May you never need that many considering you can put multiple items on one track. I also have a bunch of loops, but as far as I'm concerned most preman loops are junk.
