Msterbeau Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 Meh. Somebody needs to go back and finish thier automotive design degree. Forget that thing. Here's something that's really handy:
Head Wreck Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 heh kelly girl, you made me post this... Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! I ran over my neighbors Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! Now I'm in all the papers My folks bought me a bitchin' Camaro With no insurance to match So if I happen to run you down Please don't leave a scratch I ran over some old lady One night at the county fair And I didn't get arrested Because my dad's the mayor Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! Donuts on your lawn Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! Tony Orlando and Dawn When I drive past the kids They all spit and cuss Cause I've got a bitchin' Camaro And they have to ride the bus So you'd better get out of my way When I come through your yard Cause I've got a bitchin' Camaro And an Exxon credit card Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! Hey man where ya headed? Bitchin' Camaro, Bitchin' Camaro! I'm drunk on unleaded!

Head Wreck Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 masterbeau: looks like someone needs to finish of that honda wheres the damn pedals
Ginevra Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The seats in that Honda look *entirely* uncomfortable. HW, I'll bet it's a manual and the pedals are waaay up there towards the firewall. Personally speaking, I don't like the designs of a lot of the newer American cars. I'm not sure why they're designing new cars and slapping old names on them, such as Camero or Corvette. They hardly even remind a person of the image that the name is meant to inspire. Take the Beretas, for instance. The old Beretas were sweet in my book. Then they quit making them. Then they re-designed them and came out with "new" Beretas. Just didn't like them. Granted, even the original Berreta wasn't that much to look at but it did have it's own personality, it wasn't a generic "looks like every other car on the road", it was solid and didn't just fall apart the first time it got nudged by another vehicle. 1987 Beretta 1996 Beretta The big question now, however, is how is the bankruptcy of Delphi going to affect how much cars cost and the availability?
Guest Game of Chance Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The big question now, however, is how is the bankruptcy of Delphi going to affect how much cars cost and the availability? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nahh...they're just gonna reorganize and work out a better deal with GM and the unions. Delphi's not going anywhere, yet. Their stock however....
Msterbeau Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 masterbeau: looks like someone needs to finish of that honda wheres the damn pedals It runs on mind control. The dogs. :laughing
kellygrrrrrl Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 That Honda looks like another version of the Scion xA and the Ford Focus, a cross breed between the Honda Element and the Toyota Prius? It still looks sweet though.

Ginevra Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 That is a statement, to be sure, HW. And to each individual it falls to find what is aesthetically pleasing to the individual and what is not. Now, granted, I've not driven one of these one of these: Or, one of these, However, I have driven one of these and I have to say that it's one of the most fun, "near" affordable cars that I've ever ridden in or had the pleasure to drive. . . .and what a pleasure it was indeed. HW, I'm not trying to knock down your ideas of what you think is a nice car or not one. It's just that it varies person to person. My personal believe is to get rid of the rounded edges unless it lends to the aerodynamics of the vehicles. Let's put some personality into the vehicles instead of trying to see who can come up with the most out of the world/world of the future type of design. Let's remember safety in our vehicles. Does anyone remember cars like the Chrysler Cordoba (pictured below)? I had one of these things and I couldn't kill it. Anyone remember the Plymouth Satelite (also pictured below)? *sigh* Perhaps it's just that I'm getting to that age where I like things the way they were and not necessarily the way they are headed.
Head Wreck Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 heh the cars i chose were silly money cars, the original buggati for example, 6 were ever built only 3 sold and in 1928, a car that did 12mph with no servo assistance on brakes is like sticking a nascar engine in a AC cobra (yes dark. its plain silly, but i know hy you want to)

The_Dark Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 If I could have the cars I dream about.... 984hp.. 253mph.... 1.3million dollars..... or any one of these Mclarens....
Rayne Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I had a Beretta...I liked it a lot. I, however, I loved my Neon though too...but I'm willing to bet that was for the over abundance of aftermarket parts you could attain for it. Not actually the car itself. I'll ride in one of these ANYDAY!! Even better would be if one was sitting in my driveway... http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b335/Mis...ncerEvo8MR1.jpg ...so I can't figure out how to get the picture in here....there's the link. One day, one day.
