I am looking at getting my first tattoo and was wondering if anyone here had one, where they got it, would you recommend them and any other info worth passing on.

i have seen him do many others that have been Beautiful, and i have seen many who have pointed out the ones he has completed for them or are still a work in progess. Wehn ever i get another this is the guy who i will go with.

I hauled my happy ass up to Lansing to get my tattoo last year....you may have seen it....it's the elven words from The One Ring (I know I'm a dork - shut up), in a circle over my spine. I have a picture of it somewhere.....

Anyway, Lost Tiger Tattoos in Lansing is where I went, because my sister is good friends with the family that owns it: Doc, Drew, & Chris Dutton. Doc's won national awards, and Chris is awesome with color stuff. It's expensive, but well worth it. If you want the phone number, send me a PM.

I also recommend Eternal .. I got 4 tattoos within a span of a month in 2003 there. I'm not sure if the guy who did my tattoos is still there, however there are many talented artists there.

That's a good place, I got one of mine done there. Sqweege is the artist that did it and he's excellent.

Have several designs I am trying to pick thru. Going to have it on upper arm near shoulder. Looking at a tribal dragon or gothic dragon design. Otherwise a Yin Yang symbol.

I've been going to my artist for over 5 years and he does great work and me, spends his time, and I am comfortable with him. His name is Phil James and he works at Shaded Ink in Highland Park. PM me if you want his number.
