Lilith Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 SO is this the Dream House Thread? If so my dream would be to have my suppossed Dream Home thats we started completed, with the Garage and utility room withthe extra guess bath room done. But first i would be happy with just the main house being completed. and an extra shed so the kids bike have a place to go with out fear of them being stolen, every damn bike the kids get is stolen except the one Cody keep in the house cause he already had two stolen. So maybe my dream right now is for another 10X10 shed by rubbermaid to house the kids bikes and toys. Not big dreams but practical
holliwood66 Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Hmmm - Dream home~ One of these days I'm having this baby built on 10 acres...oh yesh.

LadyWindstone Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Well my mother and I have been planning a house for when we win the Mega Millions. It will be built on a huge parcel of land. Not sure how big yet but we will probably have our own zip code lol. It will be surrounded by a large stone wall, with a huge iron gate at the drive. On the inside of the gate will be two animatronic dragons that will be the speakers and cameras to see who wants entry. When someone presses the button for entry, the dragons will *peek* around the walls at them. When someone in the house speaks it will look as if the dragons are speaking to whomever is outside the gate. the cameras will be in the eyes of the dragons. The house itself will look like a huge mountain. The main entry into the house will actually be a dragon's head so that it looks as if you are walking straight into the dragon's mouth. We are still planning what the inside will look like. There will also be a fairy garden in the back complete with fairy rings and fairy mounds. I also want a stable built that will look like a smaller mountain that will hold Belgian work horses and clydesdales. We also plan on having a smaller guest house that will look like a castle. It should be fun.
bean Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 When you first walk into the home, you notice a marble staircase to the right. To the left is a large living room with a marble fireplace, couches, and a plasma t.v. Next to that, at the back of the house, is the dining area. To the right of the dining area is the kitchen, which is open with granite counters. There are vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining room, and hardwood floors throughout the house (except for marble floor in the entranceway, kitchen, and bathrooms). Pass the kitchen and walk down the hall and to your right is a half bath. Walk a bit further and to the left there is a huge bedroom, with a full bathroom. This bathroom has a marble, glass enclosed shower, a huge Jacuzzi tub, dual sinks with large counter space, and a toilet, of course. Walk upstairs and to the right is a 12X12 open area, which would be used as a "gaming area," with a t.v. and various game systems. Next to that area are frosted glass french doors, which would lead to my office. My office would have 1 large comfortable couch, and a few comfortable chairs. My desk would be spacious, with the best computer money has to buy and all the little gadgets I would use for work. I also have shelves upon shelves of books in this room. Walk out of this room and back towards the steps and to the right is an averaged sized bedroom, for guests. Next to that is another bathroom, decent sized, with the shower/tub combination, single sink, but with counter space. This bathroom is done in marble as well. On the other side of the bathroom is yet another bedroom for guests. The basement is finished, with walls and carpeting and all that. There is the main area with a television and couches. There is also a sauna, and another full bathroom with a shower. At the farthest point in the basement is the "torture room" with all sorts of s&m goodies. The front yard would have all sorts of trees, bushes and flowers in various colors, mostly consisting of irises and roses. The backyard would be full of plants and bushes, flowers, ponds, and statues. There would be a brick path that would take you throughout the yard, with benches here and there where you could look at the large ponds with fish in them and enjoy nature. Ok, and to make it gothy, there would be a cemetery behind my house and on each side of it.

Crazed Vampyress Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Call me kooky but i think i would have to go with classic Addams family mixed in with some design from the Winchester Mystery House and maybe a little bit of MC Escher just for the fun of it.

Msterbeau Posted October 16, 2005 Author Posted October 16, 2005 I need a big front porch for my swing....that's about it. I'm not picky. That's what's missing. A front porch. I can always use the towers...
Rayne Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 That's what's missing. A front porch. I can always use the towers... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Space permitting you could always build a deck somewhere to serve that purpose as well.
