saechalyn Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Miers withdraws supreme court nomination Way to go Bush for picking someone that neither conservatives nor liberals were too fond of. I wonder who will be next??
Shade Everdark Posted October 27, 2005 Posted October 27, 2005 Maybe he'll give Bork a second chance.

saechalyn Posted October 28, 2005 Author Posted October 28, 2005 I'm not sure that's even something to joke about! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No kidding! Gah, that would be horrific.
Msterbeau Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Sorry. I'll retract that nomination. :fear :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing :laughing
the eternal Posted October 28, 2005 Posted October 28, 2005 Ann Coulter may be the one person less qualified than Harriet Miers. I vote for Bork. He follows the conservative formula to a tee. 1 Take one disgraced man. 2 Dont talk about him for years 3 Start talking about him in a revisionist manner 4 Reintroduce him to the world via the talk show circuit 5 Refer to him as a "conservative statesman" 6 Add three eggs, a little sprig of parsley, whiten and serve over a public with a short term memory. With as much as Ive seen Bork lately, I think we're ready for him. He reminds me of an ugly Dick Cheney
