I think it could be good publicity...I'm sure they will want to barhop in Detroit, which could entice people to come for the night scene, which will bring in the youth with fresh ideas and hope for the city.......OK...maybe that is a long shot....but...I still think it could be neat.

I am torn on this, at first i heard Detriot and i was like what neighbor hoos they gonna be stayin in???? then I heard R.O and i was like ohhhhhhhh okay........ Ofcourse MTV would CHoose Royal oak, i thought baou the extra people, the money or Finacial attention would be good etc....... its one of those things we will never know if it is a good thing or not untill ti is over. All i know for sure is I am glad i do not live in Roayl oak.......I also heard they will try to get the Crew Jobs in conecton with the Super Bowl..........Funny they probally would never even consider D town if it were not for the super Bowl.....??....

When the horror subsided and I thought about it for a little while, I figured that even though it was bad for the rest of us, maybe it might be good for some of the businesses. Then I remembered what Wraith told me about Wife Swap coming into Noir over 6 months ago. The crew took over and spent almost 2 hours in the store setting up & filming. We figured that at least the store would get some publicity - WRONG!!! When the show aired a few weeks ago, all they showed was a 3 second cut of the daughter holding up a dress. We could only tell that it was Noir because of what was on the walls in the background. Sooo not worth it. At least that was only for a short time, this would be pure torture.
