I had a freakin blast last night. CC was packed. Got to meet Critter adn John and Midea (pardon if I butchered how to spell that.) Was cool finally meeting some of the dgn'rs

I went and had a good time. I saw a few of my favorite people: Daevion, Belle Morte, Game of Chance, Paper Hearts, and Blackmail. I'm sorry I missed Zhukov and Holliwood, as I left a bit early =( . It was nice chatting with some others, dancing, and people-watching. Overall, I had a good birthday.

I went with Unchaste, had a drink or two, and hung out for a bit. Saw some regulars but i was so damn tired and so was she so we split a little early. We had come from Jason's party.

Hoo, boy. First of all, Jon and I did make it home o.k. with no accidents or DUI's...

The good:

Hooking up with some old friends/acquaintances like BlackMail, BlackSkittles (good talk ), LadyWindstone, Rambo, Crank, Medea, the whole lot of you.

DisturbedMania showed up with Cassie, a cute chick who vaguely reminded me of Bruce McCulloch of The Kids in the Hall when he'd dress in drag...

Holliwood - your costume was sublime. From wig to frock, you were in gorgeous masquerade. Bravo! (Zhuk looked fetching in his centurion armor as well...)

It was such a pleasure meeting MarsDustDoug - sorry if we monopolized your time, but damn - that's some of the best conversation we've had in recent memory. It was very cool meeting your friends, and trading quotes from Monty Python (Nudge nudge, knowwhutImean?). Looking forward to more. And thanks for the assist - I don't care what you say, we owe you one.

We enjoyed being in "costume". I was a witch, Jon, well, he had genuine firefighter coat on. And I think he looked mighty nice. :grin

The bad...

Jon unfortunately misgauged his alcohol intake, and ended up wasted again. He got careless, and left his wallet on the bar, and didn't realize it until he'd returned to where I was chatting with Doug. I frantically hit up Marvin to see if he had it, and thankfully, he did. Unfortunately, someone helped themselves to the last $27.00 in cash we had left in it, which subdued our good mood more than a bit. Thanks to a very, very cool Doug for buying me a drink.

Around 3:00, I realized Jon was very, very drunk - and supposed to be the designated driver. So I worked to sober myself up, figuring I had another couple hours. But Jon insisted on leaving. I was pretty pissed - I had been very, very much looking forward to the evening, and easily could have lasted until closing - extra hour and all. But we finally left at 3:30, and I drove home praying to avoid a breathalyzer. Thankfully, I did. But I was still very, very bummed.

Sorry if I didn't say goodbye to anyone - circumstances didn't allow. =(

One of these days, we WILL make it to closing. And Jon has (once again) vowed to stay away from the booze. Feel free to chastise the boy if you see him drinking more than 1 Woodpecker cider on any given CC night.

Cassie and I had fun! She enjoyed her night at CC. I could have stayed later myself, but she felt "tired" and "wanted to relax".

On a side note the Roseville Nash was not ready for us.... hehehehe.... and I taught a few ladies how to scare away unwanted attention. We also had a french fry fight.

Whos cassie? Anyways I heard there was some unpleasantness in your life going on recently and hope everythings gonna be ok with you two guys. It was rude that someone told you all of the bad things that happened. It looks like you're doing well though and that makes me happy both u and jeremy have been nothing but good friends to me for at least 1/2 a year now. Peace girl.

I went. I got to see Medea, Davien, Crank, and Darkchylde. I think like a couple more but there were so many people that it was impossible for me to pay in there. Of course my pirate costume was lots of fun. I danced around with a pack of cigarettes and a lighter balanced on my boobs. They didn't even move. But I had fun.
