Wow, funny interview, the interviewer was a complete retard but Voltaire was actually attempting to make a statement..

I thought it was handled better than it could have been. Voltaire wasn't interrupted and came across quite well IMHO. I'm gonna look for his book.

Voltaire pointed out many thoughts we all have and i appluade him for that, he handeled the questions with calm and ease and did not seem to take offense and was there to inform not shock or upset masses. He presented himself as an upstanding person who is in the goth community. I see this as a small step for those in our community, hopefully it was seem by many closed minded people and they will start to rethink how they treat people they are not informed about.

What i find odd is When he was questioned about he picture and the look of the Kid, he said yes it could be associated wit the goth look.....which is true and the rest of his answer was good....The odd part is if you look at the Kid in the picture and place it near a picture of Charles Manson they would both seem very simlar, now was Charles ever thought to be Goth becasue of his picture? Charles manson was far worse then this kid and his crime were never labled Goth Crimes.

I dont know i just see more of a resbelance in the kids picture with Charles manson then i see with the regular Goth kids........Just look at the eyes.

I love Voltaire. Just thought that I'd say that while I was passing through. His music has always been something that amused me since the first time I got my paws on some. I have never been part of the Con circuit in my life, but that's basically the people whom I received his music from. It made me wish that I'd been going out to them more often.

Thanks so much for posting this! When Rogue mentioned he had just watched it at the concert I was really pissed that I didn't get to see it.

I think he handled it extremely well. I am not really a fan of his music, however if I had to choose someone for that interview to sort of "represent" goth, Voltaire is an excellent choice.

now that you mention it i can see that too...... gives off that empty hate dead look... as if there is no feeling or an empty soul behind the eyes.....

I agree Voltaire was good choice to show the positive sides of the goth culture..... I was also glad he pointed out that most goths are in fact not satanists

Yes I fianlly got to see the interview this eveing as well. Voltaire did a great job although the interviewer was fishing with that Satanic correlation comment. Great choice to represent the "many tribes" that make up goth.
