I just can't get into Harry Potter. I've tried, and it's hopeless.

I think I will be getting more into the new Narnia movie than Harry Potter. I have only seen HP when it happened to be on.

Hahaha. That's what I thought it was too. I liked Dagon as well. Poorly acted overall (especially the main character's wife), but the story and direction did a great job of overcoming that. I loved the ending... :devil Oh, one more thing, the CG was pretty piss-poor. I'd prefer that they had left that stuff up to the imagination.

I thought you meant Lovecraft also.

The tix for Harry Potter have been sold out for quite sometime. At least for opening weekend at the IMAX.

Last Sunday Aym and I went and saw the 3rd movie on IMAX. It was the first time I had seen that one. Very good.

I love the movies, not interested in the books.

I think aym and I will go in a couple of weekends. We are not going to take michael. The trailor looked to creepy for him on the GIANT screen. He can watch it on dvd.

You know.. the books can read rather adult. I love them. LOVE them. I'd give them a fair crack if you like the movies. Alot more intrigue and stuff than they can get into in the movies and a TON more charachter development. The new movie is super creepy. It'snot for kids. Definately earned that PG-13!

Aym and I finally went and saw this tonight.......I was VERY disappointed.

I felt like it just ended,

SPOILER

the boy dies then they all leave for the summer? I felt like i had fallen asleep and missed about 20 minutes of movie. Also, it seemed that he defeated Valdimore way too easily. This guy is supposed to be THE master of the Dark Arts and he has a short showdown with Harry and they are done? Also, they never talked about what is going to happen to the men with Valdimore, such as Mr. Malfoy! Come on! they have a student and the school whose father is working for Valdimore? Why didn't Harry say anything to Dumbledor?

The plot was not wrapped up well at all. I understand that authors like to leave as a cliff hanger to get you to read the next book, but this was different. A movie needs to be wrapped up. Even the LOTR trilogies had an ending.

Edited to add: I asked aym about some of this but she's too tired to remember. The only showing was at 9:30 pm then we did some shopping after.
