Hi, it said to introduce myself, so I guess I better do that. I'm a professional author, editor, and literary agent. In other words, I'm the publishing industry's version of a jack of all trades. that's handy because the money ain't all that great at times.

I write gothic dark fantasy and currently have two series going in ebook, Dark Brothers of the Light and Journey of the Sacred King. They are published by the good folks at Renaissance Ebooks. I also do copy-editing for them as the Editor in Chief is someone I have worked with off and on for thirty years and knew how to apply the thumb screws properly when she first decided she wanted me working for them and, once she dragged me into her lair, started demanding custody of my writing. :grin

I enjoy atmospheric music including various classical composers, and Incubbus Sukkubus.

Thank you, DarkChylde. I just wish they were out in print editions instead of ebook only. They can be found at places like fictionwise. However, ebooks have a long way to go before they are nearly as popular as print.

There's been a wide variety on the covers of my books, going both ways. Book one of Journey of the Sacred King has the assassin Talons bending over the body of her latest victim (male). Book two had a necromancer raising his slain wife. Both cases, lots of blood. I insisted on getting the artist of my choice, and since I have one of the company's best selling series, Jean let me have him with a modicum of grumbles that blood on covers doesn't sell books, but that blood in titles did. *sigh* All my lovely titles gone and replaced by TA DA!

However, I guess I got more confident when I kept landing on Fictionwise Dark Fantasy Bestseller list because I dug in my heels on the art work on JotSK, and whatta ya know? Blood on covers will sell books. :grin
