I'm just going to let this lay. I don't have the will to explain human male sexuality and how it affects our thought patterns. I could go on about Testosterone levels and how most men overcome the primal urge part of themselves... some by embracing it and understanding it others by denying it.... You have already made up your mind on the subject and no amount of information is going to change that misconception... No matter how much you don't like it... every male you encounter is judging you by your looks.. on some level of their consciousness.

so in this research of sexuality etc it proves that ALL men EVERY where think about women as sex objects 24/7? and by sex objects i mean the ones that are fuckable and are not- not only the ones that are worthy.

so if shade and msterbeau for example tell me they don't do this you believe they are lying because that is what men do to women in situations like this? they lie and tell us they don't view us like this but in fact they all do? we are not really friends but rather non-fuckable rejects? or we are only the women that turned them down? or the women that are not available so we have a big "N/A" above our heads? is that why women really wear wedding rings?

that sounds like to me that men are nothing more than sex addicts. that you wake in the morning after your wet dream, take a shower and maybe fantasize some more in the shower - watch some tv, maybe, and every woman you see on tv is placed in some category of fuckable, or not .... proceed to go into work or school where you see many more fuckable/not fuckable types....- maybe even elaborating on it a bit by saying "yeah i'd fuck her if she got her teeth fixed. yeah i'd fuck her but... her tits are too small. yeah can't fuck her cuz she's 60... i'd fuck her but she might actually be a man?? and i can't tell. better leave that one alone...."

and how does a man go about rating women anyways? how can you tell by looking at someone they would be a good fuck? do they have to fall into a height/weight/proportion range? or is that one of those things that varies man to man? is that where men are different in that way? they all think the "same" but they do have personal preferences as well? i really don't know how a man can look at a woman every time and just say "hey she's hot, i'd fuck her" to every hot chick they see.

Everyone on this thread is right.

As men - especially YOUNGER men - we are indeed very very much.... penile in our world view. Its a shame, I know. Some of us though, are way worse than others. In younger years, i too have been a Ho. Not an indescriminite Ho, and equal opportunity Ho, yet a Ho nonetheless. Unfortunately - during those stupid years i hurt people, slept with women who I knew had feelings for me and that I also knew I would not be reciprocating those feelings in return. And I also slept with girlfreinds who were just friends, and in the end , ruined many friendships that way.

Hopefully, as we grow - we change our perspective.

We start to develop new ways to appreciate women, we start to dig a little deeper. I also had to come to realize that I also had a self esteem problem. Sex or sexualizing formally innocent situations fed my inherent want to feel good. And I started to realize how much of my language was all about ME me me my my my I I I I and then to further realize that I was basically a pretty crappy freind.

I still have alot of women as friends - its not intentional - its just the way it is. And I'll even admit this much.... that every once in awhile I'll spend too much focus on her boobs, and as my mind starts to drift off into stupid-ass-ville I catch myself and silently call myself and idiot and return to reality.

I have had male friends that wanted me and usually if I don't go for it, it is because I am not attracted for some reason or another. I will say that "I enjoy us as friends" because, well, I enjoy us as friends and I am not attracted. It is out of tact and the interest to not hurt the person's feelings that I just leave out the rest of it.

I have also been interested in male friends. I have hit on male friends.

The ones that found me "attractive enough" to mess around with followed their natural instincts and I got my heart broken because they did not want more and I was embarrassed.

The ones that did not find me "attractive enough" turned me down and I was embarrased - so I decided them to be gay.

Having been embarrassed each time has led me to believe that if he is not obviously pursuing me I need to leave it be and enjoy my friend as a friend.

Jeez laweez, i never thought my silly post-teenage angst would cause such a ruckus!!! I appreciate everyone's support on this....

What really confused me was that we had only been haning out a Very short time, and he kept saying how he couldn't believe how much we had in common and how much he enjoyed being with me...... I have only been turned down twice in my entire life and the other one was a virgin....... so his behavior tottally confused me... It even boggled the minds of several of my close male friends...

Maybe he did just decide that i was worth more as a good friend than as a F*k friend....to which i totally give him props... We actually got into a descussion that night after he regected me and i told him that he didn't have to be in a relationship to get laid....he asked me how i got laid and i flat out told him i used to just diddle friends..... I really do think of him a a kewl dude, and i'm not going to blow him off just because he doesn't want to dip his wick.....as far as i'm concerned its his loss, but it upset me because i really liked him and i had just got out of a really BAD relationship of almost 2 yrs. IT doesn't really matter either way..... THings happen for a reason.....

Ps.. hes not a younger guy....hes 34...
