EatAjaxAndDie Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2034 Sad...even though the article is about a year and a half old...I think he may actually be the only hope we have.
Homicidalheathen Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I agree with everything he said. I don't listen to top 40 anymore and hate MTV these days. Nothing good on, nothing sparks my interest....except goth and techno and they never play that. Even the metal sucks. What happened to people who actually sing or screem well, guitar solo's that don't suck....
Scary Guy Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 He was just on The Daily Show too. Not sure for what or why. Average guy in a band, where if he wasn't famous he'd just be doing it for the love of it. Well he's not really famous anymore I guess so yeah, he's just doing it for the love of it. Also I have "Sports" on vinyl.

Speaking of average men in a band..Eddie Money is the same way. Just a cop from NY who made it big. Back on topic...Huey Lewis is still the true savior of rock and roll damn it! And btw...I also have "Sports" on vinyl.

Guest Game of Chance Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 :laughing I used to know someone that opened for him in Detroit during the late 80's.
Steven Posted December 17, 2005 Posted December 17, 2005 but both Huey and Eddie have decent rock and roll voices, got to give them that. I hate whiners. I hate the super satan I am heavy and you cant understand a word I say bullshitters who live in their mom's basements, I hate wiggers who grew up in places like Livonia but like to think they is hoh-ward, I hate singers who are not only out of key but out of time, and I hate singers who are boring and can only offer up one thing no matter how much the band moves things around. I actually did like early Oasis though. For metal I think the band shinedown has got some nice chops. Havent heard a real rock and roll band in so long I cant remember - I only hear bands like Jet and the white stripes that TRY to sound LIKE a real rock and roll band from so far back I cant even remember. and I like alot of the goth techno thing but I admit I have no idea who is who and I think its just plain silly (and very METAL mind you) to have these stupid dark sounding band names like Dark Mother's Butthole or something like that.
EatAjaxAndDie Posted December 17, 2005 Author Posted December 17, 2005 You sir Steven...are currently my idol.
EatAjaxAndDie Posted December 20, 2005 Author Posted December 20, 2005 Lots of views...not a lot of posts. And I know for a fact there are a lot of...opinionated people on the music part..
