Got laid off two days ago

:devil Two days ago, me and 8 other people got shit on at work. I knew exactly what was going on and of course it had to happen right before xmas, how nice. Well I know one thing I decided not to look for work anymore on the east side, ever again! Since me and a good friend are going to be staying at his moms house, I decided to start looking around the Lvonia, Taylor, and Flatrock area. But because of my age I don't know if I am going to be able to find anything in the next several years. I am getting really fuckin tired of this shit happening all the time, and I know several people who are in the same area! I need to get back to work really quick, but it will have to be a place ine downriver area or westside area. I just know one thing I will not work for shit pay like 5.00 crap jobs! Because it would not cover my bills, especially since the cost of living in this damnation is getting out of control!!

Working in the Detroit area IS a challenge Crank.

I've had 4 jobs this year - thats unheard of for me - but at the same time - coming here from LA - the fact that I've been able to land 4 jobs in this area means its not impossible. just very tough.

Dont get caught up in hte anger and self defeating blame game.

Take a hard look at yourself and build a game plan - what can you change - to make yourself worth more to a company? How can you play an active role in creating solidity?

Sorry to hear the loss of the job, but well hopefully they have you on unemployment while you look for something else. If not you should contact me, I get jobs in all the time for our youth. Some of the jobs pay decent too....not all but some.

also, if you don't have a felony and you have your high school diploma you can get hired at any security company.
