Crank.. It's a temporary setback. Regroup.. and try again.. I know it's not easy. Like I said last night... I was laid off for a year and a half...it takes its toll. Changing your identity doesn't help you land a job.... unless you change it to being a millionaire. :whistling

Draco1958 Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 Dude, I can really sympathize with you. It took me 3 yrs to find my current job(which may not be for much longer) and it only pays $8.50/hr. And no benefits. My roomie has been looking for a year. Unskilled labor jobs will be hard to find but you have to keep your chin up and stay focused. I made it thru and you will too. I know this sounds like a big downer but just being honest with you. keep plugging away with the talent bank, hotjobs and monster jobs. You'll make it thru.
Steven Posted December 18, 2005 Posted December 18, 2005 add craig's list (online) to that resource group as well. I've seen plenty of opportunity in Craigs list - and have scored lots of side jobs on my own thru it.
