Psychic vampires

Me, yes. My ex boyfriend was a physical and psychic vamp, not only did he bite me he would try to put 'spells' on me, liked to upset me and draw on the negative energy......could get inside someone's head and make them feel/see what he wanted them too and when you were asleep sometimes he would take you down into a deep dark fast moving place that felt icky and it was hard to wake up. His drawing on wierd energies made strange things happen...one of his freinds also did some wierd paralizing thing to you when you were about to nod off......

He had incredible energy though at first. I guess that is what drew me to him, some morbid curiousity now that still gets me in trouble with these types. Circles of protection don't help me much is best just to stay away but it seems they are always great lovers.

Vampires that can read minds?

Posted

No he did not read minds. But we got so close he could implant pictures or thoughts....one when I was sitting on top of him I said no I won't marry you (duh!) and I got a picture of his physical heart ripping in half in my mind so I asked him what he was thinking and he described exactly that. Although I doubt he was all that hurt.....really....considering. Or maybe he liked being set up for pain.

What does Mr. Klaus think of all this?

Posted

Who SATAN CLAWS............he's all up in that kind of stuff.

all kidding a side there is more out there then we could fathom, there are deffinately people out there that will suck the life and goodness right out of you. I use to be all into that stuff but I had to stop it is very harmful to your soul and I didn't like the consequences.........always remeber there is an equal and opposite reaction for every action you do, so if your putting out negative energy your going to get it back 10 fold. At least that has been my experience. :devil

Nope.

i belive that some people give out energy, and some people just soak it up (ever been around someone who just made you feel tired and irritable for no explicable reason)

but sorry. vampires.

i supose werewolves will be the next thing

Maybe "Psychic Vampires" is the wrong name... perhaps based on the descripion "Psychological Vampires" would be more accurate

He doesn't like a few of our ex freinds....neither do I. And is glad I don't bring some of my 'frineds' home.

Yes he believes as he studied yoga for years. Understands some people have a gift or develope themselves in a way but decide to use it in a bad way instead of a good one.

What does Mr. Klaus think of all this?

Have you met one - Yes and No...

I met two people, a couple, who claimed to be and went to great lengths to make sure everyone they talked to knew it. I never blow off what people have to say without first having a reason. Their chatter bordered on bragging I would say. Not knowing much about it, I asked questions which they were all to happy to answer.

After a few minutes of conversation I got the feeling that everything that came out of their mouths was totally rehearsed, as if instead of trying to answer my questions honestly they simply regurgitated something they had come up with some time ago. For a moment I thought maybe they didnt want to answer questions but yet they went on and on to anyone who would listen and repeatedly asked to be asked questions.

To make this story a bit shorter, Ill skip the specifics and jump to the fact that by the end of the conversation both myself and my best friend were practically in tears from fits of laughter at these two ridiculoud people. The guy started telling me that my disbelief only gave him the opportunity to make me his victim and i couldnt resist the chance to really goad him on.

About this time his wife pulled out a tarot deck, things got more interesting.

What ended up happening is this: He started to 'suck' my energy away and I invited him to 'do you worst' He insisted that he would continue to draw my energy even after i left and that my proof of his ability would be that i would be so drained by the time i went to bed that i would be mentally and physically unable and unwilling to get up the next day. His wife did a tarot spread for me which according to her revealed that by 2003 either my body, mind or spirit would be dead. Meaning, according to her, I would suffer either physical death, become braindead, or become so weak and suffer from such major depression that my spirit would die from lack of nourishment and i would never be able to laugh or feel emotion.

What actually happened: Nothing. After this ordeal the friend who i was with and the other people who had come to hang out with us all left laughing. I went about my night, i went home, i was absolutely fine the next morning. in fact it wasnt until that afternoon that i even remembered that i wasnt supposed to be able to get out of bed. and here it is now, 2006 and all three of my mind body and spirit are still kickin.

These people were obviously braggarts who needed some attention. This doesnt mean that i discount all claims of people's to be psi vampires, it just means that i am really skeptical based on my own experience. I dont blow off tarot readings either, but have met only 1 person who seemed to know what he was doing and the rest of my experiences were "If-y" at best.

I dont htink those how have antural ability BRagg or boast about it.... most who have natural ability have already faced laughter from those who they trusted, have been confused and messed up over it for some time and have learned some things are better not disscussed openly...those that use for good any how.

Those who boost are in for the Look, the Feel, the fear, the drama of the lifestyle etc..... as mentioned above those who are "fake" do in fact seemed to be rehearsed with answers and the answers never change..... as with any ability and humane nature if you are really in to something your thoughts will change as you learn more, your answers and ideal will change as you grow and learn and finally when you are set on something you speak of it pasionalty from the heart, the answers have meaning and feeling behind them that are obvious to others.

I do believe there are vamps who draw energy from others and there are those who bite others, i am sure i have met a few of each but no one boosted or spoke of it as the occasion did not seem fitting for it. I never went back to investigate, i like my blood and my soul just fine with my own internal turmoil changing it.

Can't say I know much about the mental vamps compared to the blood sucking types. :confused

Check out the temple of the vampire.... On the surface, it seems like a scam or something obnoxios. But with a little homework, things get more interesting. Also try Konstantinos, a cool guy who has written some interesting reading on this phenomanan

Dont think of them in the Count Dracula fashion but rather people or beings that have an ability to really draw energy from others. I have met several people who claim this but are not the real thing. Then again, I have also met a few that are the real deal I suppose. They are creepy

These people are real

thats all I can say for now

I don't believe it. I have some experience in debunking the occult and I was wondering if you could put me in contact with some of these people. PM me if possible.

I have talked to wiccans, neo-pagans, practitioners of magick and just about everyone else swear up and down that they have some sort of supernatural (or natural I suppose) abilities but none of them have been able to show any sort of evidence when confronted.

I know many here are neo-pagans, and that is cool and that is your right, however I also have a right to voice my dissent. I would like anyone who disagrees with me to contact me and we'll discuss it further, the burden of proof is not on me, so please show me some evidence.

by the way, I am not trying to be a jerk. I feel there is room for an open discourse on the subject and I hope there is some intelligent replies.

I grew up Wiccan (my parents practiced) and they never claimed to have magical or supernatural abilities. Sure, there are rituals and things that are done for healings and that, which sometimes seem to have an effect. Do we really know if they had an effect or is it just coincidence? We can't really say either way can we? If you take a few psychology classes, you will quickly learn how to rationally explain things that seem "supernatural" or a "miracle." Does it explain all things out of the ordinary? No, but it does bring a rational light to most things. Does this mean I believe what I believe any less? No. There is this thing called faith that keeps us believing that we can say a few words and heal someone or that we will meet either "god" or "satan" when we die. When I was done with school I was an Athiest for awhile, because after taking 12 or 13 psychology classes there seemed to be no point in believing in any religion at all since it all could be explained rationally. Ok, I didn't mean to turn this into a thing about religion, so please don't respond to that.

Are there "psychic vampires" out there? Who knows. What I do know is that there have been times where I have gone somewhere, feeling great and full of energy and met someone who made me feel drained and shitty for the rest of the night. Did this person "suck" the energy from me? Probably not. What most likely happened is that I disliked the person for whatever reason, so talking to them affected my good mood. Instead of thinking about the fun I was going to have, I am now thinking about how to get away from this jackass. That can make someone feel tired and drained. But maybe that is not the case. Maybe they are a "psychic vampire." Who knows?

My point is that most things can be explained rationally, but it can be fun to be a little open to the possibility that there could be supernatural things out there, because we really don't know for sure if such things do or do not exist.

I apologize if this is all over the place, I'm tired. I'll probably edit this later.

beanwater that was a fair and rational post, thank you.

I could probably simulate energy draining powers using a combination of hypnosis, NLP, and suggestive communication (no, not that kind of suggestive).

read a book called "The Celestine Prophecy" by James redfield. Excellent book but it deals with the draining, recovering, and channeling of energies.

Psychic vamps is the term being used but I believe we are referring to energy vampires. Yes I know there is no physical proof, however we must remember 1 thing, alot of things are taken on faith. So why can some things be taken that way but not others?? I pose this quetion because I feel it's a legit question to ask. Anyone can debunk something when hard evidence isn't there. So what...does that mean it can't be true because no one has found that hard evidence yet?? Remember if science debunks something that means no real scientific investigation has been or will be done. Food for thought. I personally have been around people who after a visit, seemed to have new energy in them yet I felt a loss of energy. Does that mean they were an energy vampire?? No but it does open the question to me as is it possible. It has been said time and time again that Myths and Legends have some basis in fact. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it can't exist. Just because you can't find hard evidence doesn't mean something didn't or couldn't have happened or existed. Science cannot and will not ever explain everything until science opens it's mind and fully explores anything otherwise it's nothing more than supposition that it didn't happen, doesn't exist etc.

Science can't prove everything, but it can disprove things.

For one, Vampires do not exist. The story of a blood sucker is a myth that has existed in several cultures including Slavic, Greek and Chinese......but in each of the myths the description of the 'vampire' was wildly different.

In Eastern Europe was where the modern vampire myth was born. Funny as people became more educated and technology increases (thus loccal far animals died less often) the less people feared vampires, to almost non-existent levels today.

Thru history the ignorant and uneducated have been the believers of vampires, the Peter Plogojowitz and Arnold Paole cases are examples......the masses ended up burying people alive and driving stakes thru the hearts of innocent human beings based on wivestale.

The concept of a energy vampire (or psychic vampire ) is entertaining to me. I am certain you can allow yourself to believe that someone is draining your energy. The energy vampire is gaining credibility in the goth scenes around America, given credence by Dr. Bruce Goldberg. Personally I think the guy is a nut. Then you have Anton lavey who claims he invented the term psychic vampire, and that guy was a conman, he didn't even believe most of the crap he was saying, he just said it so people like goths would buy his books.

Simply put - if you are a rational and mentally strong human being, no one can drain energy from you.
