Many of you, maybe not so many of you, but some of you will likely remember disenchanted.  He's getting married March 25th.  And since he was basically my best friend after meeting him through DGN, and through the entirety of my knowing him while living in Kalamazoo post that time, I'm bound and determined to be at his joining. 

Which means, well, I'm leaving Alaska for a two week period to see all the sites and people I miss so dearly, and even those I really don't know that well yet. 

So expect to be expected, somehow, somewhere. 

And yes.. I'm really coming this time, not just talking about it and then giving up at the last minute. 

The plan is not fully plowed out yet, but it will be by the end of the month. 

Holy crap, I'm excited. 

And I promise to come to city club and actually dance this year, unlike last year where I was sick the whole time cause I got too drunk on new years eve. 

Now, get excited, people!

Have you plans solidified any?  I finally got to reading this thread all the way through and noticed that you may need lodgings.  If nobody else has offered, you're welcome to stay in my daughter's room since they aren't with me most of the time you'll be here.  You can even sleep on the upper bunk.

I haven't been able to reach Mr. Drew, and he's busy enough as it is, so at least for a couple of days, that might be a very very good thing. I will get back to you on this as soon as humanly possible.

I don't want to end up being that girl who couch hops and becomes a burden, so I'd like to arrange everything as unpainfully for everyone besides me as possible.

Ambushed... both good and bad I suppose. Good, because it meant snuggle time on the couch. Bad, because it meant that until I succumbed to said snuggle time, I got to sit here while having someone stare over my shoulder, so it made saying anything that I wanted to say awkward. Which sounds awkward enough... It's the whole "you're going to spend the night at a STRANGER'S HOUSE????" ordeal.

I mean, sure, you could be a total psycho, but at least you're convincing as a genuine kind of person.

Also, I'm sure the girls beds would be fine, providing they're longer than three feet. I sleep all curled up anyway.

DILEMMA!!!! Lol... I need someone to take me shoe shopping while I'm in town. Anchorage has crappy shoe stores. I need a nice pair of doc marten inspired mary janes, with a single strap and no stupid fucking butterfly patterns on them!
