Age discimination Being born and raised here in a fucked up nation Sorry about being negative but I might be forced into retirement at 35 I have no life in this screwed up nation.
Brenda Starrr Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 I'm so sorry, Crank. Something better will come along. Somehow, I feel as though they're not telling you the whole story, though. What did they say to you?

Homicidalheathen Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 Yah I know how ya feel. My man is 50 and still no retirement anything in sight.....he complains about it all the time. I will be one of those 70 yr olds you see working at Mcpukes for benefits one day.
Steven Posted January 12, 2006 Posted January 12, 2006 stay on the path Crank, stay on the path. Quite often what you lkiterally speak aloud is what will come to pass. You have youth actually - you may feel old but your on the lighter side of the scale. You also have tools and skillsets that will find a home somewhere. think about your interviews. think about how you may be communicating. think about how you might be able to re-create yourself in a job search situation. You can do it Bro - you can get a job despite the odds...its tough....but we cannot grow without pain and without being stretched. Dont get down, lean forward. Its usually the last ten steps that will get us to our goal that we miss out on because we quit at the end. Dont quit.
