A Violent Criminal Past

Recommended Posts

:devil Here is a big problem in society is there are too too many people that have a hidden criminal past and you can never tell it. These are the kinds of scum who try to be friends with you but their past is full of being in and out of the system and they try to hide it until it's too late. If only there was a way to find out if someone who did'nt want clean up themselves you could save yourself a whole lot of bullshit.

Fetishes eh? Heh. Sorry. :blink

what happened did you get burned by a crook?

Background check!

Really, it's scary how many people hide their past.

Is thier past really any of your business?

So, my fiance and I went up to visit his cousins in northern Michigan. They were charming and friendly and bright, and all in all we had a really fun day.

So, on the car ride back I said "We should have them come down to Detroit and stay with us for a weekend. Wouldn't that be fun?"

And he said, "No, I don't think so"

And I said, "Oh, no, think of how great it would be. We could take them around to some parties, and I can get the guest bedroom cleaned out and they can stay there for the weekend. It would be fun!"

"It'll never happen," he said.

"Why do you always have to be ants at my picnic? They said they'd love to come down and I'll invite them myself!"

"They're on electronic tethers, sweetie. They're both under house arrest. They won't be coming down for a very, very long time."

And I said, "That's not possible! They're so sweet! They asked about my wedding plans! They asked if I had picked my flowers yet and they thought calla lilies would be lovely! They said I should wear my hair in a half-updo! Hardened criminals do not find calla lillies lovely nor do they know what a half-updo is. They can't have done anything that bad. I think they shouldn't be on tethers"

"They're on tethers, for crissake, TETHERS! Do you think nice people get put on electronic tethers? And you're ready to let them go because they like calla lillies?"

I had to end the whole conversation there because it was making me feel awful about liking calla lillies and his cousins.

I never would have guessed that two fellas with such sordid pasts could be so charming and friendly. But, really, I like them and I hope they both get paroled soon.

I'm thinking that maybe Crank's experience with the criminal element wasn't so charming?

I myself have quite a sordid past that would make most run away and hide, but people may change you never know......I'm sorry you have had bad experiences .......sometimes people suck

Posted

some do change some dont and not all people on tethers are bad..... they may have done a bad thing but that does not mean they are bad people. I know two people who were on tethers and house arrest, one had the craziest story in jail or the best hard core story i guess and i wold trust him more then some non criminal people i know.

As long as a person treats you well i say there past is there past. Value what they are today.

If they are bad people they would have been a bad person weather or not you know there past or weather or not htere past involved a teether or some other criminal activity.

Exactly! They are evidently two gentlemen who appreciate the finer things in life.

Come to think of it, I think that's what landed them in trouble in the first place...
