Wounds Within Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 I guess if I hear correctly the chief judge in Saddam Hussein's war crimes trial plans to hand in his resignation as presiding judge in the morning (Sunday). It is also unclear why he wants to step down and even more unclear if his request will be accepted or denied. Well I wonder why he wants to step down. Could it be that he is most likely getting death threats up the waz-zoo? (interesting way to put it) Of course it is, he is the only judge whose name has been revealed during the trial and he has appeared over and over on video of the court proceedings in spite of the security risk while all other trial judges have refused to show their faces on video, fearing retribution attacks by Saddam Hussein's loyalists.
detroitrequiem Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I agree, Saddam has someone watching him. How scary is that?
EvilDivaEva Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 It seams there is just one thing after another going wrong with this trial ....... going wrong for for the entire Iraq occupation for that matter.
