The third pair from the left are strangly disturbing. The others, especially the red platforms, would catch my attention, but the ones with the blunt toes, are just . . . I can't think of a better word than disturbing to me, in some way. Although the ones with the horseshoes aren't much better but at least they seem safer than some of the other examples.

They might be less disturbing if you consider they're just ballet en pointe shoes with heels.

I've seen those brought up on DGN before, and it was suggested they're almost a form of bondage. And not meant at all for actual walking.

Which, for some, might bring them right back around to "disturbing".

The platforms wouldn't be too bad to walk in once you get used to them. Kinda like walking on mini-stilts. A bit awkward but not like the others that bend your foot at such a cruel angle. The ballet heels, however, well.... that's another matter. Don't these come from a website called Punitive Shoes? The name says it all...

see i'm a ballerina so i can tell u from experience that ya, wearing those shoes that are like point shoes w/ heels for any more than 5 min at a time would be HELL. i mean, i wanna cry after 45 min classes in which we get to COME DOWN from point. u'd need toe pads to even put them on, and i have no idea how you could manage w/ those heels.

Very true In a store selling those ballet heels a lady asked "how does one walk in shoes like those" and the saleslady said "Honey, you don't walk in these shoes. You grab your partner, put them on and go straight to bed".

The ballet toed ones are super cute.

I can usually handle heels....I wear them all of the time....but those ones....wow...

I could see myself getting gigantic leg cramps, or charlie horses of the feet from those babies.

Walked out of Deisel with my G/F one night rather tipsy in my platforms and fell SMACK flat on my f*cking face.

Scrapped my chin, hit my head....but was too drunk too feel it really so we went and got it on in the van anyway.

I hate being goth sometimes as it is a health hazard just wearing the gear. :tear
