Am I Nuts For Shopping For Housewares More

I can't seem to help myself. I'm like a kid in the candy store. And I just love Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Ooh! The housewares dept. at Marshall's rocks my socks, too!!! My house is going to rock!

Nothing wrong with it. After all, moving into your new house, you're gonna want to buy a bunch of new stuff to make it just right for you. Just remember to get a strong 4 poster bed to handle the restraints. Wouldn't want one to break free at the wrong time.

I wish I could get more into decorating. I want my space to look nice, but I don't have the eye, the funds or the inspiration to make it that way.

Gads, no, Brenda. When Jon and I were moving out of my parents' home into our own place, we went nuts buying pots, pans, silverware, furniture, etc. It was WONDERFUL.

Of course, a majority of our stuff came from yard sales, outlet stores & thrift shops, but we still went NUTS. :grin

I'm still oddly fond of some of the stuff we picked up then. My Revere Ware pots are one of the only things I got to buy brand-new. I just wish I still had a kitchen that better facilitates my USING them.

See me being a bachelour (spelling?) I don't care what the house looks like as long as it's clean. I don't go buying tidbits other than like TV's entertainment system stuff like that, I leave it up to the family to through stuff up on the walls or whatever and I am the veto power lol

Seeing as I'm a designer.... if I had the $$$ to decorate as I pleased... WHooo boy!! As it is... my daughter's mom was pissed off a lot because I cared about the decor. Women think it's their exclusive domain until they marry a designer.. LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
