I'm looking for any version of DDR for Playstation. PS1 or PS2 - I don't care, either will get me moving.

I have a dance pad, just need the game.

I can purchase if cheap. I'd offer a trade but I don't have any games to give up at the moment.

Check out gamestop, sometimes they get them in used and sell them cheap. There's another store in taylor across from Meijer, can't think of the name but they also sell used games.

They had a newer version at our Meijer last night when I was there. For PS2.

Ugg. I found a guy on one of the buy/sell/trade groups I'm on who was going to trade me his for a PS1 console I had on hand.

So Jon and I go out of our way to drive from downriver all the way to Grosse Pointe Park - only to discover he "meant" to call me to tell me his kids changed their mind and he wasn't going to do the trade, but forgot. THANKS A BUNCH YOU INCONSIDERATE MORON.

I ended up finding a used copy of DDR Extreme at a Game Crazy for $14.99. Could have traded that PS1 but I think I'll make more $$ for it selling it directly.

In case you didn't realize, these games hold their value used. It's kinda surprising to find DDRX for that price. DDR - the original for PS1 - sells used for around $30. And brand-new, the newer versions start around $40.

You can get good deals on eBay, but it's not like other games. I hadn't realized that when I started this quest.

My dance pad also turned out not to work. Got it for 50 cents at a yard sale, so no big loss. Got a new one at Circuit City for $20. Going to follow the advice on a website I saw and pick up some foam padding & double-stick tape to modify it.

Someday, if I really get into this, I'll pick up the metal pads. Great websites out there selling them at good prices.

Metal pad is a nice idea but still generally doesn't have the response you'd expect. A friend of mine and I really went through one fast, and it ended up having the same response time as some of the upper end soft pads. I got one of those, the Red Octane to be exact, and it works quite well. Every once in a while you have to go in and fix the foam supports though...

Just my opinion. The arcade is always better anyway.
