I hate doing laundry for clothes that are dirty, why would I do clean ones?

I like to wash the manufacturers starch out of the clothes plus I buy alot of items that are cotten so I buy them oversized then wash to shrink them too.

If it's clothing that's been hanging, who knows who or what has touched it in what manner!

People wouldn't REALLY try on a swimsuit or pants while going commando, would they?

I wash everything. It grosses me out that someone might have tried it on and not be very clean.

Even if it's something like a sealed package of socks I still wash them because my skin is sensitive to dyes and that sizing stuff they put in it at the factory. Too many allergies. Washing seems to take care of that, plus the clothes are softer after washing and not so scratchy.

Yes, they put a chemical on them to keep them starched looking that they know causes cancer big time.

So even if your not afraid of catching scabies from the person who tried it on before you, wash it before you wear it!

After having worked retail for several years, omg, you'd be VERY suprised at what people would do.

Unless it's a necessary buy for a specific purpose (like that outfit I bought last time you and I went to Necto together), I usually wash new stuff. It just doesn't feel like mine until I wash it. Same goes for towels and bedding. I didn't used to, but now it just seems like a good idea.

Army clothes, no I do not wash them. I know they are clean. I *heart* a new pair of BDU's or DCU's

When I get my "normal" clothes, I wash them if I think that they need it. Just for the dye purpose tho. I don't like my skin changing colours and not getting me anywhere.
