So now it is offical. The contest of Super Bowl XL in Detroit on February 5th will be between the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburg Steelers. Who will pull off the win?

I say Steelers

Seattle. Pissed me off that Denver lost.

Mike Holmgren is a great coach and I see him taking in the first Super Bowl win Seattle has had.

Commercials. I was commenting to a friend the other day that I wish I could get a listing of when what new commercial was going to air when so I could just tune in then, watch it, and then switch off to another channel when the football comes back on again.

Commericals of course

I can't stand the thought of the Steelers winning. I'd like to stick their terrible towels where the sun doesn't shine.

We taped it last year, then fast-forwarded through the game just to watch the commercials.

I don't know if it was just us, but the commercials seemed pretty lame last year.

Don't know if we'll bother this year.

I couldn't care less about football, but a bunch of commercials sounds even less interesting.

I predict the Montreal Canadians on the 18th hole.

There have been several years that the commercials are "rofl" funny, almost to the point of literalness. (Is that a word?) Companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to get these commercial spots and to make them. Remember the Budweiser frogs? They debuted during a Super Bowl one year. I think Bud's Wazzup started the same way.

My daughter does the best imitation of the "whazzaaaap" commercials. She makes it hysterical.

I still miss the Bud Bowl commericals. Does anyone recall this series of commericals? It would play a minute or 2 nearly every other block of commericals.

It would usually be the epic match up of Budweiser vs Bud Light, but it other years it was Budweiser vs Bud Ice or Bud Dry. They even had bottled announcers, it was very entertaining.

Watching a bunch of Bud bottles with helmets on running along the field was funny as hell. Even more funny while drinking a few Bud products or other alcholic beverages in the process. They should bring the Bud Bowl back to the commericals, they were great.

What was the name of the wiesel that came in the later commericals with Frank and Louie? I not recall.

I think he was just called "the ferret"

Anyway I did stumble across these budweiser frog commericals posted on this website a few months ago. Enjoy.
