Wasn't sure how to answer this. It depends on what I'm eating as to what I prefer.

If I'm having toast, I prefer jam. If I'm eating biscuits, I like preserves. But I also like apple butter, too but I don't know how that would fall in the choices.

Not a fan of marmlade.

So I voted Other.

i always get confused as to what it is that i like jam or preserves. whatever it is that people will make homemade. strawberry jam? or preserves? or do people do both?

FYI:

Preserves use whole fruit in a thick syrup. Jam is crushed fruit cooked with sugar~

I like *and make in the summer* strawberry and apricot preserves and jams. I also love red currant jelly and sour cherry preserves. *yum*

Strawberry Preserves all the way.

but we make a Blackberry, Strawberry, Green Tomatoe, Rhubarb and Raspberry jams, jellys and preserves every year. We also freeze a lot of fresh fruit too... we live in a cornacopia of wild berries....

As I finally found a recipe.. I'll be making Huckleberry wine next season.

i would love to have access to wild berries like that

and yes i guess strawberry preserves is what i like followed by jam

Preserves are kinda the same thing aren"t they?
