Medea Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 Here it is, I've finally listed something on ebay. Sadly enough, I'm afraid that I might actually overdraw for the $0.90 it took to list it. *Sigh* Medea's first Ebay item
Lilith Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 the $.90 should come as an invoice around the 16th of the month, unless they now offer another option to pay your balance at time of listing. BTW $.90 seems a bit much for a basic listing i pay $.35 for each one of my basic listing $9.99 and under, did you add gallery or other features?
Fierce Critter Posted January 27, 2006 Posted January 27, 2006 That looks just great, Medea! Good luck! I'd guess that .90 went partially to using the auction designer - the fancy border, etc. I never use those. Waste of $. I use HTML to do my own tricks. Medea - PM me if you want some tips.

I personally use the plain features that ebay offers and hardly pay over .35 per listing unless the item is worth a higher starting bid. Aside From FC who is IMHO the ebay oracle, i have looked at many of the help pages and froums ebay offers for tip and tricks and found some great info that was useful to my particular situation. Might be worth cheking out if you plan to list often. Also when you look to set a price make sure you look at items that have already ended and items currently for sale, i have found that the past does not allways predict the future very well. Happy selling
Lilith Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 *not intended to hijack thread* I woke up this morning seeing these undies that my hubby got as a gift going for $6.00, i thought about you and your new adventure and how people dont understand how much money you can make off some of the "silliest" things. I found it encouraging and thought it might be for you as well. LOL a 5 pack of fruit of the loom undies, a terriable christmas gift, turned in to atleast $6.00 in profit for me..... makes me giggle and want to do a MONEY dance. :peanutbutterjellytime
