n0Mad Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I'm writing some stuff up in MS Word and I found a font that I like, but I want to print it in mirror writing. Is there a control that will let me invert all the text horizontally? If that won't work in MS Word, is there another program out there that will let me do this? Thanks for all of your help and hopefully the solution is an easy one 'cuz I R dumb. :confused
Marblez Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Could save it as a picture file then flip it vertically, right?
Draco1958 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 When you go to print it, go into your printer settings and see if you have the ability to print onto transfer paper, if so usually you can then tell it to print backwards. That way if you were making a transfer image for say a T-shirt, it will print backwatds. That way when put on a shirt, the image is correct. I know you're not making a transfer but in theory, it should work anyway. I use transfer paper aka iron on paper to make mousepads. Add-on info: I just checked printer settings. If you go to file then print, when the window comes up showing your printer, go to properties then features. This is where you can select print paper style such as portrait, landscape and for me, mirror image. If you have that ability and select mirror image, it will do what you want.
n0Mad Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Marc - Yes. Marbelz - That may be what I have to end up doing if I want to send the file to people electronically and have it appear how I want it to. Draco - Thanks. That should work perfectly for printing (though I have yet to try it). Now, to find a way to save it backwards electronically ...
