Hellion Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 :devil When ever I go to a Job Interview,I always make sure I am clean shaven, hair tied back, make sure all nail polish and face makeup is removed(from the weekend that is)resume is with me,I also. before I walk in kinda recite to myself some of the questions and possible answers they commonly will ask. I make sure I smell of cigarette smoke,NOT!!! Then it's already to go.Other than that how do you present yourself for a job interview?
phee Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Suit Tie... no long hair, shaven, comfortable body language
DJ Nocker Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I go in trying to look as NOT GOTH as possible, i wear clothes that arent in any way ofensive, usually just plain blac shirts, dress pants. no jewlry or anything. once i get the job, i slowly sink back into the goth thing until someone tels me its to much, then i back off to what is appropriate for the job.
Homicidalheathen Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I usually show up reeeeaaally wasted, I don't brush my teeth or hair.....and my clothes are wrinkled. Then I forget how to spell my name, drop things...bump into walls.....whatever I can to make sure I don't get the job. I just have to fill out so many applications to keep the unemployment checks coming but I am so lazy I will do anything to get out of work. Ha! :blink
saechalyn Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I always wear a suit, even if I know the job will never require it. I never wear makeup in normal day-to-day living, but for an interview I might put on some foundation and lipgloss to look more “polished.”

Homicidalheathen Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I wondered if anyone would actually believe me. I may do this occasionally but not on purpose. I am too lazy to fill out unemployment papers......you all know that.
Aralis Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I go clean and well dressed...a suit or dress pants and nice top. I take out facial jewelry and tone down the makeup and wear only a few rings on my fingers. I pull my hair back in a ponytail or bun. I try to be relaxed and walk in confident.
