I hate the I told you so's but here goes. So one of my kids went to the movie at prime time yesturday with all her buddies and lots of (as she calls it 'preps') there. She comes out and trips and falls smack on her front side in front of everyone and her drink goes flying and all because she tripped on her long two sizes too big with chains and straps hanging ghetto goth pants.

I laughed my ass off when I heard that.

I have "ghetto goth pants" ... a few pairs actually ... never tripped over the straps, although I have gotten them caught on things, like barstools and just about everywhere in my car.

Thats twice now I have had a kid have a embarressing moment with pants due to strange fashion trends.

never did get the whole trailing traps.

but hey i went through a phase of never tieing up my parajump boot laces up and unlacing thewm halfway (and you had to wrap the laces around the top when they were fully laced and tightned

once when i was getting ready for school like 3 years ago i was turning around walking out of my bathroom and the strings on my pants got caught on the drawer handle of the sink cabinets and it pulled out behind me---freaked me out so bad i screamed and started to run away cuz i was only partially conscious and it was very dark outside.... only problem was i was still attached to the drawer and fell flat on my face.

i got caught in so many doors and escalators etc. when i was younger.... now i wear tight pants or skirts so short i dont thinkt hey could posibly be caught on anything. so i dont have that problem. wind, however, is often not my friend....

OH I hear ya on the wind. I have mooned a few people in my day.....don't like tall trucks much either.

The wind is a guys friend.

Windy is good. Unless of coarse it's your wind in the form of gas from a burrito. I am like 'uh honey if we eat at Chillis you probably won't be getting any later' and sometimes he is ok with just pigging out......no sex. And that is why I love marriage.

Oh and my kid got even madder (is that a word???) because the so called popular preps showed concern which brought even more attention to it. By saying stuff like, 'wow that was quite a fall........and, are you ok'? They pissed her off. I was like 'yer so goth'. I got that from this board. Hehe

anything accident related caused by pants is going to be funny, no matter who or what.

Coincidentally, 'accidents' caused by a lack of pants usually aren't funny. LOL :laughing

I had a similar experience a couple years ago... I spent like 15 minutes standing in my closet staring at a pair of panties that I thought were possessed. They were in an empty laundry basket and kept twitching mysteriously. I finally discovered that a very fine microfiber thread had unravelled when I took them off, and was still stuck to me. So whenever I moved, so would the panties. I didn't fall or anything but I must've looked like an utter halfwit standing there watching those panties like a hawk, totally mystified as to what was going on. I was SERIOUSLY freaking out... kept thinking "I've seen some uncanny shit in my time but possessed panties are just a bit much"

All you DG-Ninjas will know what song was running through my head the whole time...

Actually......if your panties were possessed, it would not surprise me. :fear :cool
