LCC 2/11/06 Aftermath

i can only assume that i was drunk and had a good time and i was hanging out with rambo and rachel a lot

Jon and I try to get there by 10:30, but my hair ends up taking too long and we end up arriving about 11:30. We manage a spot in the $3.00 lot anyway, so I don't have to go off on the parking attendants for letting the Latex Twins park after I'm refused.

We get inside, meet up with some DGN'ers in the usual spot. Jon sticks to beer and stays relatively sober. I drink about 50ml too much and get a bit sillier than I'd like, and vow to cut down by one more next time.

We dance to a few songs, but generally don't like what they're playing. So we go back to the DGN corner and chat with friends. We realize a bunch of people who said they'd be coming don't show up so we call them losers.

We get tired & hungry around 3:18 and decide to leave. We go home and eat sandwiches, and go to sleep.

When is somebody going to let me borrow that time machine? I am really getting tired of waiting.

I try on all my clothes and decide that I look like shit in everything I own and vow to torch everything when I get home. I settle on the old standby and decide if I want to do dark make-up or look like I got hit with a glitter bomb. I fight with my hair for about a half hour then move on to make-up, which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Then I switch purses, only bringing enough money for a certain amount of drinks. I vow I won't spend all my money on booze, but I do. I check and make sure I am adequately armed with smokes and a lighter.

I drive to cc, find a semi decent parking spot. I get there, get my first drink, and mosey over to the dancefloor, see that it is dead, mosey back to the dgn corner.

I see Dave and scream DAAAAAAAVE!! and in our drunken stupor we talk about how we are drunk. I continue to have drunken conversation with several lovely dgners for the rest of the night. I go to the dance floor at some point and discover that the music sucks and kick myself for not going on Friday, then go back to the dgn corner for more drunken conversation. Sometime during the night I hit the bathroom and puke, then get another drink. I drink too much, as usual.

My aftermath posts are never this long. Of course, I am not hung over at this moment either, hehe.

Well, I didn't get there as usual. Didn't have anything to drink. Didn't get to chat with anyone. Didn't get to see how beautiful the ladies looked. Didn't get to flirt. Didn't get to hear any music. Another boring night. Makes me wonder why I didn't go.

I shower, try to do something with my hair and give up. I spend over an hour putting together an outlandish awesome outfit and decide I look ridiculous. I wonder why the hell I even bother with that place and decide I'm not going. An hour later I'm bored out of my skull and realize I have nothing better to do so I throw on what I always wear and go. I drink, I try to dance but the music doesn't stay where I'd like it to for more than a few songs, so I get bored. I flit around and see people.

Someone gives me attitude for no reason,

I chat with someone I haven't seen in forever,

Someone whose name I don't know says how awesome it is to see me and we really need to keep in touch,

I chat and gossip with the usual suspects, try to dance some more, have one more drink than I should and spend the last hour and a half sobering up and whining because I want to leave but I'm not ready to drive yet. Then I leave.

Pretty much every week in a nutshell.

My first Saturday off of work this year and it was a slow night. All y'all who didn't come, you suck. I chatted with Just Dave when I first got there and SlingerlandStyx and I talked drums. Saephyr, always a pleasure and Bean, you're such a tease. :-) Fierce, I love chatting with you and any time spent talking with you is time well spent. Jon too. I love you both and our talks make coming out totally worth while. I chatted with a few other people and that was pretty much it. The music sucked when I was on the floor and rocked when I was off it. Such is a perfect analogy of my life. A few other things played up to that analogy as well but I won't get into them.

Like my first post except I didn't puke and I danced some. There were also several declarations of "yarrr" throughout the night.

Thanks to Saephyr and Slingerlandstyx for making sure I didn't get too drunk - I did get plastered, but not as bad as I could have been.

I went. I spent most of my time on the dance floor. I avoided...pretty much everyone, with two exceptions; it's better that way, I assure you.

What REALLY happened:

I actually finished getting ready in record time. We arrive about ten minutes before 11:00, sit in the truck and drink a bit.

Went in and met with some great DGN'ers, including Spook - a pleasure here as well. See you on the 18th at Mephisto's!

Similar experience with the dancefloor as Spook. At one point, I finally got so pissed off I went to the request sheet and wrote, "Keep playing this techno crap and CC is going to lose customers".

Of course, I had a little too much to drink.

I witnessed some shit that totally pissed me off and so we left - about 3:26 a.m.

No CC for us next weekend. We're going to Spook's birthday bash, and may even give CC a break for a while after that. Once we come back, you may notice us isolating a bit. Don't take offense. Just something we need to do.

Broke as usual. Got my usual purple rain, offered a beer from someone who heard I was broke. Ended up leaving at 3:30ish. Wanted Taco Bell, but they closed and turned off their lights when they saw me pulling in the driveway. :tear It seriously sucked ass.

Went on a saturday for the first time in like 8 months, had a pretty good time, spent a lot of it in the girls bathroom lounge thing though... I seem to meet as many people in the bathroom as I do anywhere else in the club. Anyway, hung out with some friends, saw some people that I havent seen in a LONG time... felt like there were so many people missing. I agree with spook, it was a really slow night. Anyway, Im sure I'll be there next weekend, hope to see you all there!
