Going back OTR

Well, some things have changed life-wise and since i had a taste of the homelife again, I decided to take my life to level 3 (level 1 was the crap life i had, level 2 was this good life at home in a stable driving lane, level 3 is what is to come next). I have decided to go back over the road (OTR), and possibly buy my own truck. This would enable me to make up to 3x the money I make now.

I am looking higher and higher in this life and I feel its time to run for another 2 or 3 years on the road with not much of a life. This is just to help get to the goals I have set once again. I will be keeping up now and then as soon as I get my new laptop. So I am not saying I am disappearing, just not going to be physically around much. Seems a good time to do so when things are getting wacked out around here anyway lol. Those who have my cell phone know how to get ahold of me. Just do it after 7pm nights and on the weekends :grin

And those who want the cell number just leave me a message and I'll get it to you.

This is basically why I haven't been around much. I have been going back and forth with my company on what I am going to do, esp since I told them this constant overnight running is getting to me. Putting in 55-60 hours a week in driving and I could be putting in some major mileage and money over the road. So there it is and here I go

Actually, if you don't have much in accidents in the past 5 years, no DUIs, and not more than 3 tickets in 3 years, chances are you can get a driving job at many truck companies. Companies are real desperate for truckers right now due to many either accidents, losing their jobs to drug screens, or felonies on their records. There are even companies offering a $4000 sign on bonus to get with them. Depending on how old your suspension is, you may still qualify Froyn. Just FYI.

I had my FedEx run cancelled for the second time this week. THis is good considering I am paid the same if I work or not :D so I am back on here tonight.

Yeah I am mainly doing this to eventually afford one of these elegant 300k brick homes they have near South Lyon here. If I get my own truck I should make over 100k a year. So we'll see.
