Hellion Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 :devil I was always wanting to know if anyone on DGN had model building experience, architectural model displays:example Building replicas of exhisting structures or your own designs. I myself have over 20 years of experience, but unfortunately alot of it is done on computers.Another example is turning a cereal box into a work of art, just wondering. If you have any pix, post them on this thread,I hope to be able to post some pictures of my own work.
Msterbeau Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I was a model building fiend when I was a kid. I like model making even though I don't really do it anymore. Too many other things take priority. I'm definitely the kind of person who likes to create things... work with their hands, etc.
Brenda Starrr Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 It's too hard to build models. They refuse to eat......
Rayne Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 My little brother built car models when we were kids. I built a few, but was never really good at it. I was awesome with an airbrush thingy though, so I did all the paint jobs. My little brother still has some of them.
The_Dark Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 i did model cars and planes as a kid. As a teenager built model rockets. The only models I work on now are life size... as in.. I volenteer for Habitat For Humanity and have helped build about 20 houses for the under privlidged. Thats the only kind of "model" I work on now.
