I am so excited. I have been sleeping on my couch for over a year. I now HAVE a full fledged BED in my bedroom. Not a futon, not a fold out... an actual firm new full sized B...E....D!!!!

I am so excited, I think I will sleep now.

I totally feel your excitement- i LOVE my bed. at night when Im tired and its time to go to bed i look forward to it. When I crawl under the blankets and feel the cool sheets under me and I lay down i cant think of any better feeling, sometimes. My best friend makes fun of me cuz sometimes I get so excited crawling into my bed that i litterally squeal, like an excited kid about to get onto her favorite roller coaster (thats how hes describes it) and when i spend a night sleeping anywhere else, the first night back in my own bed is EVEN BETTER.

Nope, not at all. I've been sleeping on a couch, a floor and most recently someone else's bed (that doesn't even compare to mine!) ... on Sunday I get to move my own bed into a new house, set it up, and USE IT! It's been in storage for a year!!!!

... I can't wait!!!!

My futon was quite unreliable and I feared death or the loss of my lewer legs if it were to collapse while I was sleeping on it. So, I just moved to the Lazy Boy couch....it really IS a comfy couch. Ugly as sin, but comfy.

The money never really materialized to get a new one, so my dad bought me one for christmas. My sister got me the comforter set and my brother got me the mattress pad. It was a family effort!! I love my family!!

Enough with the futon...lol. Although we were the only ones to use it, I think ours was the most popular bed on DGN at the time, lol. My ex and I were having to search for the screws that worked themelves out every couple days. I can handle never having to deal with those, ever again.

I kept waking up moving around and sprawling out in this direction and that (couldn't do that on the couch!). It was good.

I should probably wash my comforter, it was at my dad's shop for a while and smells like a combination of WD40 and exhaust. Then again, it does smell kinda manly...maybe I'll just keep it for a bit. Hey, I can pretend
