Just makes you really respect those men in blue, eh?

I live just outside Muskegon. Not much action here so I suppose the cops here are a little overeager for action.

Muskegon officer fired after allegedly beating elderly man

(Muskegon, February 22, 2006, 2:43 p.m.) The Muskegon Police Department has fired one of its officers who is accused of beating an elderly man.

The incident occurred last week when Darl Staley was checking on a neighbor who had a small fire in her basement. The officer told Staley to leave. Staley says he is hard of hearing and apparently did not move quickly enough for the officer.

The officer then proceeded to throw the 94-year-old man to the ground, cuff him and threaten to arrest him.

Staley suffered a fractured elbow, as well as bruises and cuts on his wrists.

The officer was then put on paid administrative leave and the department apologized to Staley for what happened. Now, that officer has been fired from his job.

I love beating up old people. They put up so much of a fight... well actually their walkers do... Damn things keep me from kicking them in the nuts.

Gives a whole new meaning to "caining". :laughing
