Msterbeau Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 But Snookems....I need you back home, the kids miss you...... Kids? Is that what you call em? :laughing
pharoh Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 i never thought i would need it either, glad to know ya all are better off then Ithanks for the input :blink <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey hun, we all got our hangups, I'm not even in a relationship, but that didn't stop me from reading it some. I commend you on doing what you have to to keep your marraige going. It makes me think back to when I was almost married and I wondered if we did what your trying now would of saved our relationship, but then I think back to what a cheating, lying, manipulative whore she was and realized it was doomed before it started. Good luck with you and lestat, I only met you guys once, but I thought you guys were still very nice. Take care and good luck.

Take care and good luck. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> thank you pharoh, it really takes two people who want to make it work for it to be a success, i know if in my situation only one of us were to be working on it, it would continue to fail. Both parties have to be willing to make a change here and there. On a side note, the site is helpful even in "none failing marriages", we all have issues at one time or another with in-laws, kids, work, friends out side of the marriage etc... And it offers advice on all those things which can harm a relationship between couples. I just can understand how any one can be so bold to think they could not benefit from learning how others work through there problems or to think they would be above ever needing anything like this. No one knows what there future holds and if you have a possible solution to a problem before it arises, it makes solving the problems allot less difficult.
soothsayer Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 i never thought i would need it either, glad to know ya all are better off then Ithanks for the input :blink <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't trying to imply that I was better off than you Harmony. In fact, I have a track record of picking only the most fucked up women for long term relationships so after the last bad experiance I decided that I will never get married. That is why I will not need that sort of advice. I didn't intend to put you off or offend you in any way.
Brenda Starrr Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 It wasn't my intention to insult you, Harmony. That's all I have to say.
saechalyn Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 Since working on your relationship requires having a relationship to begin with, I've no use for it either. Good luck to you and Lestat, Lilith. I hope you find what you need.
Onyx Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 WOW. I'm puzzled why that link got such a negative response from virtually everyone! hmm... I don't like a lot of his advice, but still ... Why all the naysayers, even among some of you who are married? (just curious)

(just curious) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No marriage, no relationship, no social life, and the way things are going, I have neither the werewithal to acquire them, nor much of a desire.
Brenda Starrr Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 I'm sorry if you're having problems. Believe me, I've been there more times than I even care to count. I really do hope that it works out in your favor. However, lashing out at us is more rude than anything said here. I'm sure that no one here meant to offend in any way.
Shade Everdark Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 The only one I intended to offend was myself. I do quite well at that.
