Hellion Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 :devil And you always wonder why I and other people that we know don't trust anyone anymore. My opinion. and theirs.
honeymustard02 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 If you're posting about a problem or something point you're trying to make, it's usually nice to INCLUDE the problem or point. This is helpful to us who read these posts to understand what the fuck you're talking about.
Hellion Posted March 2, 2006 Author Posted March 2, 2006 :devil Example like when your at work, the boss assumes your not doing your job, even though you are,A store clerk thinks you stole something when actually you did'nt,When cops acuuse you of some kind of crime to get money and you know you did'nt commit the crime.
Blacktoenail Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 :devil I was accused of having dirty stinky feet
The_Dark Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 OK now I see where your coming from. I would like to point out that your making it worse by not trusting anyone. See... people accuse people of things because they have been given some reason to suspect or not trust the individual they are accusing. Therefore assuming the worst of them... just like your doing.
honeymustard02 Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 It comes from the image I guess. I had this problem when I used to dress "different". I used to go in stores dressed one way and the store clerks would follow me. When I went in to the SAME store with the SAME people dressed "normal" they would talk to me like nothing and leave me be. It's not right on their part but honestly it's not going to change because of stereotypes. Unless you learn to let it roll off your back or decide to dress a different way it's not going to change.
Ginevra Posted March 3, 2006 Posted March 3, 2006 I have to say though that this doesn't happen in just America. Anywhere there are people, prejudices and prevalent ways of thinking will prevail just as popular society standards will as well.
