My mom was EMS'd to the hospital from work yesterday. The sucky hospital they took her to says everything's going to be fine, but is/has transfered her to the better hospital downtown that ha the capability of seeing things better.

It's been 13 years since she had her double bypass heart surgery. They said she'd be lucky if it lasted 10.

My mom got transfered to another hospital late last night (a better one) where they found out that the valve on her heart isn't working properly and needs to be replaced. They will schedule the surgery tomorrow for sometime in the next few days.

She won't be making it to my wedding and she'll be out of work for about 6 months or so. This is her second majour open heart surgery. Her first was a double bypass when I was 15. So it's been about 12 years.
