more details to follow. Suffice it to say that he showed me some song structures he's been sitting on that were perfectly suited for my voice and style of singing, which is essentially an old school classic rock kind of sound. We are both geared toward doing something with uplifting and or spiritual overtones as long as it is relevant and real. We are both thinking of throwing some latin overtones to it vibe wise. We are both thinking that I should write my own vocal melodies and lyrics. He's his own Indy label who is working with several majors (Epic and Atlantic) for distribution. And we've both been around the scene and have our war stories. I didint think we'd have anyhting in common at first but we clicked, we laughed alot. That's a good sign. We made an arrangment to meet again in his studio in the next week or two to order a pizza, sit down with an acoustic guitar, and see if there is any collaborative spark between us. If there is, we'll move to the next level concerning legalities....could be something, could be nothing, dont want to get my hopes too high but then again I am a glass half full kinda guy and it's been a long time since I've been in this sort of position. I'm not 20 anymore and I don't have fantasies about fame or money, but I DO want just one more shot at being able to (proefessionally) record a handful of songs that I beleive in...
