This last line gives me comfort when I see intolerance, like Prop 2, heralded as being done in the name of G-d.

I love the idea that no matter who you are, what you believe (within reason), who you associate with, you are welcome

Seriously though, I've heard amazing sermons that actually explain biblically how homsexuality and other so-called deviancies need not be viewed in contradiction with being a good Jew/Christian.
