Rayne Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 That Rayne would actually enjoy the game if you were there It would help if I could understand what I was to do with the sheep and wood. I just don't get it. ... and I'm wondering why people on bicycles insist on talking on their cell phones and weave right out in front of cars without a care in the world ... if your going to drive a bike near the street, AT LEAST pay attention to what's going on around you!

I really can't stand it when people on bikes ride in the middle of the road, right in front of cars... especially when there's a sidewalk. I was driving in Ypsi and had some elitist dumb f*ck riding right in front of me, while the cars behind me were honking at ME. I honked at him and yelled, "MOVE!" Finally he moved. I was about to plow his ass over. It's not like I'm trying to be rude, but come on, there's a sidewalk, and he was being really rude to everyone else by doing this. Grr!

There was a sidewalk, and no bike lane. I live in the City of Ypsilanti. I guess, the way I understand it is if there is a bike lane, it's illegal to ride a bike on the sidewalk? I'm from a little town ... we didn't have them. This makes no sense to me. I cringe everytime I pass a bike on the street, bike lane or not ... you never know when they will weave right in front of you. Not to mention with the rising gas prices, there are more bikes and now those bikes are talking on the phone and trying to drive a bike. It's safer when your not out in traffic ... or anywhere near it. Seems like the siewalk would be safer to ride. It's even worse trying to get anywhere in Ann Arbor.

Honestly, I can't remember if there was a bike lane or not, and I hardly drive in Ypsi anymore since I don't go to school there anymore. I'm thinking I was on Huron River Dr. by Cross St., but it was so long ago that I can't remember for sure. And yes, I agree that it is VERY hard to get aroung in Ann Arbor!
