Not really a big fan of the crapload of remakes being made (OMG The Fog sucked) this one did succeed on many levels though... Not sure if it was a "good" movie but it was disturbing, gross, and unnerving to watch and will rattle a cage most likely...

Oh and to support the theory presented by HW... the movie was made in America... but the director was French, the same guy who did "High Tension" so... yeah

I took a friend out today for her b'day and we ended up seeing this. I'm not a fan of the genre, but I thought this movie was really well done. The opening montage and first scene was great. I felt they could go with less "boo factor" and more suspense though.

Not half as good as Final Destination 3. Now that was gory. But for the classic value of the remake, it was pretty decent for what they did esp limiting the amount of computer graphics they used.

I would like to see some more remakes come out like of C.H.U.D. or other 80s Fangoria titles.

I liked the movie alot. I thought it was good for what it was. The rape scene kinda got to me a bit but I still enjoyed the movie.

What got to me about that scene is they didn't show any boob. Everybody knows a horror movie worth its salt has to have at least one gratuitous booby scene.

But yeah, there were parts of that scene that were seriously disturbing. I thought the actors did really well.

Spook you are correct in fact. 1 FEMALE body shot is par for every good make.

I just don't want to think about this film w/o Michael Berryman. My GAWD he WAS "Hills" and everything about it! =(
