looks like my old rock night is back on after a 2 year break!

same venue, but once a nonth this time (yay, not every week on obscure nights like last time)

with a liscence to host bands (hopefully we'll get at least one band a night)

and we keep the door fee (last managment kept bar and door and payed us pittence)

plus no idiot DJ to force a resignation from him (after a very smashy and nicy "yes you can" outburst on iron maidens can i play with madness, we sent neal over to make him cry, he ran out sobbing and neal only spent 2 mins talking to him)

so once a month we get to play a set that varies unlike the local "wales bigest rock club" offering of same shit each night so precise you can set your clock by it. and carries more of the stuff the loacl doesnt (they have no white zombie, no pitchshifter, and refuse to play motorhead untill after most have gone home to avoid the dj's embaresment of shooting his mouth of and getting himself KO'ed by someone (wish i saw who it was to buy them a beer)

If I lived in Wales I would have made the trek to Manchester to go to the Hacienda.

Of course this would have been back in the early 90's because it's been closed since then, actually I think it's an apartment complex near Manchester's City Centre.
