Shade Everdark Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 I was trolling Wikipedia today, and found myself reading the article on Joseph McCarthy. It turns out that he worked in a law firm--and tried to begin his political career--in the very same town where I was born, and grew up near: Shawano, Wisconsin. Read About It Here Shawano is not a large place. It has fewer than 10,000 people, and the town nearby, where I spent my adolescence, Bonduel, is even smaller. It's a bit unsettling to think that a man like McCarthy operated there, even for a little while. I've often said that the only famous people from Wisconsin are insane persons: Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Joe McCarthy. And, of course...Me.
Scary Guy Posted March 29, 2006 Posted March 29, 2006 Maybe it's something in the air/water. I'd be proud of the fact and wear it like a badge of honor. People screw with you a lot less if they think you're psycho. It's better to be feared then loved, fear lasts longer.
