nodrew Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 I'm gonna agree with Scary Guy here. It's been so long, that its nice that they admit that there were mistakes made, But its not like the apologies are coming from the same people, or the same government which commited the crimes.
Dubh Aingeal Posted November 2, 2004 Author Posted November 2, 2004 I'm gonna agree with Scary Guy here. It's been so long, that its nice that they admit that there were mistakes made, But its not like the apologies are coming from the same people, or the same government which commited the crimes. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Most of those persons condemned for witchcraft within the jurisdiction of the Baron Courts of Prestoungrange and Dolphinstoun The appoligies may not be coming from the people that condemned them, but it is coming from a part of the system that condemned them. The "Baron Courts of Prestoungrange and Dolphinstoun" were the very court system that condemned them so many years ago. Now Scottland is finally getting rid of this very system. But I do agree that it is a bit along the lines of "too little too late". Not too much diffrent then what Salem did a few years to appologize for the Salem Witch trials. In which those appologies came from a system that had absolutely nothing to do with the trials at all...
