honeymustard02 Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 I have crushes but that's all they are. It's not something I look to for relationships. To me thery're just fun
Nikki kitty Posted April 3, 2006 Author Posted April 3, 2006 WOW! It's really interesting to see everyone's point of view on this topic. Crushes are really a funny thing. I've been asking tons of people for advice, and they've all been cheering me on, as well as some of you guys. Ok, call me girly, but I'm kinda waiting for him to ask me out on a date or something. You know, letting the man make the move. I don't have a problem with making the first move after dating Recently he told me the following when we started talking about zodiacs and he said he was a scorpio: "Did you know that scorpios are romantic AND good in bed? My face suddenly grew hot, and my wheels started turning.......anyways! I'm thinking that may be a good hint, but guys can be tricky sometimes, so what if he's just a tease and I'm being fooled? Or maybe I'm over analyzing this? See! I make things way too complicated for myself. Screw it! I'm going to start diving in head first.
n0Mad Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Don't wait for him. If he's anything like me, you'll be waiting forever. I get way too shy and I'm scared of rejection. I've been turned down so many times that most of the time I clam up and don't even bother talking to gals so I can prevent that whole rejection thing. If I never ask them out, then I'll never get a no. Then again, I'll never get a yes either but that seems to be my destiny regardless. Anyway, if you like someone, let them know. Do it as soon as possible too. If you do it when it's just a crush, then any rejection will be mild. Painful, yes, but relatively mild. If you pull a me though and wait around for months and months obsessing over this crush and you let it grow and grow and grow until you can't stop thinking about them day and night and it grows into full blown love, then rejection can shatter your soul.
Msterbeau Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Screw it! I'm going to start diving in head first. Right on.
n0Mad Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Head first, sex later? :laughing Sorry, couldn't resist. :grin
Rayne Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Don't wait for him. If he's anything like me, you'll be waiting forever. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I second this. Make the first move.
kellygrrrrrl Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I second this. Make the first move. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I 3rd it! Make the 1st move!
TygerLili Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Crushes are fun! I like that getting-nervous-whenver-you-see-them, don't-know-where-it-going feeling. Of course it's been a couple years since I had a crush I didn't either pursue, or write off because the person was not available.
The_Dark Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Crushes lead to infatuation... Infatuation leads to obsession... Obsession leads to stalking... Stalking leads to hiding in my headges with a bar of soap and a razor knife

Nikki kitty Posted April 4, 2006 Author Posted April 4, 2006 Well guys, listen to this. Sunday morning I got into a crappy car accident. The van that hit me destroyed my car. Well, the guy I'm crushing on has offered to give me a ride back home from school. He lives near the campus so to take me home he'll be doing about an hour's worth of driving or more roundtrip. This is almost as good as getting a bouquet of roses, and it may be my chance to, well, go for whatever I'm going for! Wheeee! Things are looking up even though I have a swollen face and an achy body, and no car! :tear :grin
Brenda Starrr Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Wow, that's......perfect? Good luck, and sorry about your car.
