Onyx Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Well, all my plans to escape picket-fence hell have fallen through, so I figure I might as well look for a house to buy here since I'm stuck here. I am really happy to find that there are a lot of houses for sale here I like. I want an older home (something built in the 20s or 30s I'd love) with wood floors and some interesting details, something with shape and not just a box like most newer homes here are. Strange that those are the homes selling for less than the newer ones, but good for me. I like looking but the open houses bug me because some of the realtors are so darn pushy. yuk. I guess with the housing market so competetive they have to be but it bugs me a lot. I think I've found one to work with though so that'll take some of the pressure off. ack - I'm rambling. These pain meds took my tooth pain away but they are making me loopy. Does anyone know why this is in some of the ads? "Owner is a licensed Realtor in the State of Michigan" Are realtors asked to put that if they own the house? Seems weird. Is that something bad?
