When I'd go visit family in Montreal, I used to always go and come home with a full car... There's just way too much nifty stuff. :-)

i am happy because anything i find on their website i want to buy i can't get online! always in store only stuff i seem to want.

now i can finally go to their store and just get it. i don't think i will go there much/often. but when i do need/want something it is nice to know they will be in michigan.

I've been looking forward to this too. I always stop in the one over in schumberg(sp?) Northwest of Chicago when I'm out that way. I drive past it on my way to my biking tracks and juist get the urge to by something for my house. Now I can redecorate without the 350 mile drive. I'm jsut finishing up the new flooring and molding so its time for some design ideas.

On the Ikea website, there's this "Chat Bot", called Ask Anna, and you can ask her questions. So, I recently had a conversation with her. It went like this.

Me: Would you like to go out with me?

Anna: I don't really want to talk about personal issues like marriage. If you could talk to me about IKEA that would be much better.

Me: Do you have a sister?

Anna: Family is very important for IKEA! Drop the kids off at the IKEA supervised play area and ballroom, and shop in peace. This way, everyone's happy. Or if you want them to help make furnishing decisions, strollers are available at the entrance.

Anna: You can find all products on the HOTT product line in the page I am now opening for you.

Me: are you wearing any underwear?

Anna: I'm really not sure what it is you're trying to say. Can you please try and re-phrase your question or statement.
