My Son's Show

On Sat. my son's band played thier first "big show". About 100 people showed up. They were sopposed to do a 45min set but were told they could do no more than 5 songs. Un-huh.. this is a punk band. How do you make 5 punk songs last 45min? Sprinkle Chuck Norris jokes in between songs.... Though this was a great day for me as a father,, the getting there was fun too. Fun in a "OH MY GOD THAT TRUCK IS NOT STOPPING!!!" kind of way. Yep, 5 miles fromt he venue some old lady's breaks on her truck went out. She hit me at about 45mph. Spun my truck about 180 degrees. Noone was hurt and I drove away. her truck is fucked up. I got some dents, a blown tail light, and pieces of her grill permanently mounted in the side of my truck. All in all it was a great day... BTW... this is my Rock Star son...
