Der Nister Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 Has a new TV special on May 8 - I'm a fan and I'm looking forward to seeing this next one.
Morbid Side Posted April 27, 2006 Posted April 27, 2006 He's good for demonstrating practical illusions. I might check it out.
ManicQueen Posted April 28, 2006 Posted April 28, 2006 Sweet. My daughter and I will be watching that for sure.
ManicQueen Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Watched it. I knew he wouldn't beat the record. How the hell can someone hold their breath for over 7 minutes let alone 9 minutes? I can't even hold mine for 30 seconds! Regardless, it was interesting to watch.
Homicidalheathen Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 He was crying when they took him out. It was......emotional........for him. Not me. I was wondering wtf just happened as I ate my cheese its.
The_Dark Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Does he ever do magic? I mean.. He calls himself a magician...
kellygrrrrrl Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 He totally flopped. :laughing Oh, man, all that build up for nothing! gotta love it
n0Mad Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 Does he ever do magic? I mean.. He calls himself a magician... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't think so. He kinda did on his very first TV special, but they were more like the cheap ass tricks you'd get at a kiosk in the mall than anything really worth doing. But, the crowds in the video seemed to like his stuff and I guess that's all that really matters.
torn asunder Posted May 9, 2006 Posted May 9, 2006 i don't think he flopped at all, really - i mean the world-record holder attempted to beat his own record and only lasted 6-something minutes, and it was *his record*! :blink i think he could have done it, had he not had to "escape" from the chains - all the extra exertion burned what little oxygen he had left... :doh still, overall, worth the 45 minutes i spent half-watching it! :laughing
Der Nister Posted May 9, 2006 Author Posted May 9, 2006 I freaking forgot all about it and missed it. :whistling And I started this damn thread. :laughing
ManicQueen Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I freaking forgot all about it and missed it. :whistling And I started this damn thread. :laughing <{POST_SNAPBACK}> freakin idiot... goooosh :grin :laughing j/k
Marblez Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Just saw a news twaser - he ended up in intensive care and they think he may not fully recover!!!
n0Mad Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Just saw a news twaser - he ended up in intensive care and they think he may not fully recover!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Which begs the question, was he ever fully there to begin with?
Der Nister Posted May 11, 2006 Author Posted May 11, 2006 freakin idiot... goooosh :grin :laughing j/k <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :innocent :whistling
Brenda Starrr Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Which begs the question, was he ever fully there to begin with? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know, right?
ManicQueen Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 Which begs the question, was he ever fully there to begin with? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya know, I thought the same thing. You'd have to be half gone to try to attempt some of the stupid things he's done.
n0Mad Posted May 11, 2006 Posted May 11, 2006 You'd have to be half gone to try to attempt some of the stupid things he's done. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hell, I'll lay down face first on a bed of broken glass and have FarrIL stand on my head but at least that's entertaining. DB's stunts? *yawn*
mallochai Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Hell, I'll lay down face first on a bed of broken glass and have FarrIL stand on my head but at least that's entertaining. DB's stunts? *yawn* <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... naked?
n0Mad Posted May 14, 2006 Posted May 14, 2006 Hmm... naked? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hope she's naked. :grin I was waiting for her to wear a skirt to one of our rehearsals but alas, that never happened. =( Oh ... you meant me? Well, shirtless at least. I wouldn't go completely naked. A thong at minimum. Considering our performance was for a bunch of high school kids, shirtless was probably just on this side of the line and pantless would be right out.
HighProtein Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I enjoy what he does but jumping on boxes and holding breath after stunts was kinda dumb and un-necessary but hey thats what the crowd wants.
